My client is a compact organisation with a high reliance on technology. As such, the CTO is expected to: 1. Play a key management role for my client. 2. Analyse, develop and implement IT plans and budgets to support business goals. 3. Identify and pursue opportunities to leverage technology to improve the business processes. 4. Develop and manage technical personnel. 5. Maintain, extend*enhance, standardise, document and provide training in the use of various software systems. 6. Plan, manage and document the hardware infrastructure that meets my clients needs and provides “insurance” against downtime. 7. Keep current with technological advances and industry trends. 8. Be technically proficient and capable of doing as-well-as managing the work if necessary. This is a cracking opportunity for a very interesting company!
